Ben Nevis Distillery
Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland. At its foot sits Ben Nevis Distillery which was established in 1825. It draws its water from the great mountain. Part of its whisky make goes into the Dew of Ben Nevis Blend.
Ben Nevis Distillery is Japanese owned. In fact if you’ve ever had Nikka whisky, you may well have had some Ben Nevis without knowing it as it’s used in Nikka Blends.
The distillery sits on the outskirts of Fort William which is well know as a base for outdoor enthusiasts including hillwalkers.
