Benromach Distillery
This independent distillery was brought back into production by Gordon & MacPhail, malt whisky specialists. It was established in 1898. Benromach is located in the lovely town of Forres. It specialises in a distinctive peaty whisky which is unusual in Speyside but it also produces a non peated, organic malt whisky. The distillery gives a lot of attention to tradition and no computers are used in the actual production. The distinctive white walls, red doors and red chimney give Benromach a photogenic quality.
